Maki’s design incorporates a dramatic setback with a green roof that contributes to the ambiance of the dining room with its stunning views of Manhattan and a roof garden. The Consolidation Building is to achieve LEED Gold certification.

DCI's goal in commissioning this project was to create an aesthetically pleasing cafeteria that reflects positively on the Discovery brand while satisfying their employees’ need for a place to grab a quick breakfast or lunch. Mission accomplished.
