With her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, Lynn Hopkins brings to the food service industry the creativity and outlook of an artist. Uncommon though her background may be among food service designers, chefs, and operations managers, art is a central passion that she shares with the architect. With her idiosyncratic newsletter, FYI, Lynn delights her readers by connecting the dots that she perceives between the visual arts and poetry, on the one hand, and industry news and food service on the other.
The FYI first premiered in Autumn of 1992 and is currently in its 28th year.
