Frank Sinatra School of the Arts
Long Island City, New York
A new 159,968 sq ft high school with a cafeteria serving lunch to 800 students and staff in separate dining rooms. In designing this facility, Hopkins adapted a NYCSCA prototype to satisfy the building’s requirements, including two remote access points to foster efficient shift changes and a layout that gives direct visual control of all cafeteria spaces to ensure security.
