Chris Buscetta

Christopher Buscetta, LEED AP
Senior Associate, Designer, Mechanical Engineer

B.S., Mechanical Engineering, 2004, Michigan State University

 

As an engineering student, Chris Buscetta felt at home working in restaurant kitchens. After graduation he moved to Washington, DC, and continued to work in food service as he looked for the right place to launch his career in design. Chris joined Hopkins Foodservice Specialists, Inc., in 2005. He realized right away that at HOPKINS he could enjoy all of his interests at the same time: engineering, food service, and design in a collaborative studio setting.

Under the direction of veteran Warren Schneider, Chris gained intensive and comprehensive experience from one of the nation's ablest food service designers. With his keen analytical mind, Chris has quickly grasped the fundamentals of layout to which he adds his knowledge of engineering. He was the first HOPKINS design associate to pass the LEED AP exam.
