Purdue University Schools of Engineering and Mechanical Engineering Technology 2001–2005
Daniel is familiar with every aspect of Hopkins, where he has worked off and on as a part-time and temporary employee for more than twelve years. In the summer of 2009, Dan made the commitment to become a full-fledged food service designer. He brings his keen eye and alert mind to the firm’s quality control process and contributes his analytical, mathematical, and visual skills to the design business. With a strong mechanical aptitude, Daniel was an excellent student in Purdue University’s School of Mechanical Engineering Technology. While in college, he refocused his talents on visual communications with an emphasis on filmmaking and completed his Bachelor’s degree at American University. Since then, Daniel has won awards for his Anime productions and has produced several professionally acclaimed trailers. Not surprisingly, Dan has proven to be an exceptional graphic designer. At Hopkins, he has produced logos and e-blasts and otherwise helped to fulfill the firm’s graphic design needs. Recently, he retrained in advanced versions of AutoCAD’s three-dimensional conceptual design software. He also has trained in Revit Architecture software, which is used increasingly to prepare projects in the industry. Daniel’s training will allow Hopkins to expand its documentation capabilities and to better serve its clients.
